Library Media Specialist/Reading Interventionist 7:30 – 3:15
Library Assistants are in the library pretty much every period. They help with the daily operations, complete weekly assignments and put together book displays. Please be patient with them as they learn the ropes.
BASIC SCHEDULE
Open at 7:45 for tech support and book return only
Tuesday/Thursday—2 week rotating ELA Classroom schedule for book talk and checkout
Monday/Wednesday/Friday---Reading Intervention Schedule
Lunch recesses—open for
Game room
Book Checkout
Tech support
After school until 3:15—open for book checkout and tech support
If you experience tech issues during class times:
- Student must come with a pass and report to the main library desk
- *Send a text to Mrs. Raemer so we know to expect the student
CHECK-OUTS AND OVERDUES
Students check-out books for two weeks . If a student has overdue materials, they will not be allowed to check out anything until the overdue is resolved. Teachers can checkout materials until the end of the year expect reference materials which are required back in the library after a month.
Library Classrooms
This year we have a great opportunity to use two classrooms. The rooms are a great alternate to re-arranging your room for special lessons which require seating different from your classroom. When the outlook calendar is up and running, you will be able to access the link here. A few reminders of what we expect when classes are using the library classrooms.
- PLEASE exit and enter QUIETLY! There are other classes being taught.
- If your students finish early, please have something they can work on IN THE CLASSROOM. Do not send them out into the library.
- Make sure all chairs are pushed in when class ends.
